These are made from a slightly softer silicone rubber than the originals, and are slightly larger above the hob surface, so are more resistant to pushing through when the pan support is replaced than the originals.

The grommets are designed to fit a hole in the hob of approximately 7mm diameter, and to take a wire grid being pushed into them of around 4.5 - 5.5mm diameter
These are made from high quality moulded silicone rubber, rubber type is specified to have high temperature resistance, anti-aging properties and acid and alkali resistance (necessary against cleaning products)
